In the 2025 model, you get more advanced features, such as generative responses, thanks to the incorporation of generative AI into the software.
For anything the generative AI can’t handle, you can communicate with Autodesk’s customer support agent through the same platform.

Enhancements For Projects on Autodesk Docs
If you manage your projects using Autodesk docs, AutoCAD 2025 makes the job so much easier for you. With markup tools on Autodesk docs, every markup or change in the document synchronizes with the documents on the collaborator’s end and your AutoCAD tool, meaning you do not have to switch from one software or computer to view and update the changes.
You also do not need additional tools to track changes made to your design because versioning is now supported. These changes are especially critical for teams that require more than two collaborators.
Core Performance and Drafting
In older versions of AutoCAD, you first had to have an existing shape to add a shaded pattern. In AutoCAD 2025, it’s like you have a magic pen. You can draw your shape and shade it as you go. It is about giving you more control and saving time.
